Continually reimagining who will come through the doors, loving our neighbors, and welcoming the stranger. This is Grace, where the ministers, all of us, make Grace happen for all who come, and all who are yet to come. A place where there’s room for everyone at the table.

The Growing Grace team has been looking for ways to be more welcoming and to better serve the community through improvements in our systems, practices, and physical spaces. Here are some examples:

Eyes open, Finding Grace: The Grace Episcopal Church sign on Day Road has received its Spring cleaning and encroaching plants trimmed for better visibility. Soon to come will be signage directing traffic past the Island School, all the way south to Grace Land.

Several guest parking spaces will be designated to welcome visitors.

In the Narthex, directional signs for the restrooms have been installed.

Say Hello, Hooray, and Welcome: We look forward to welcoming our new part-time Coordinator for Youth Ministry to assist us in developing youth programs. Details to follow soon.

Listen up: Within the year, a vastly improved sound system will improve the auditory experience for in-person and online participants.

Continually reimagining Grace. As we work to expand our membership and grow more deeply into who we are meant to be, Grace abides and Grace evolves. All shall be well. All is well. Thanks be to God.

For the Growing Grace team,
