Don’t Miss the Pageant this Sunday!“Papa Panov” Adapted by Leo Tolstoy from the original Russian folk tale, retold by Mig Holder in the picture book, Papa Panov’s Special Day. Script created by Kim Cockroft. This year, the children (and Dan Rohan as “Papa Panov”) are giving us the gift of a beloved old folktale come to life. Advent Evening at GraceTuesday, December 17th The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. As the darkness deepens, we need light. We long for hope. Join us for food, conversation, story, and prayer as we experience God in our midst. Come and go as you need: Dinner 6:00 – 7:00; Program 7:00 – 8:15. Families are very welcome! We will be telling stories and experiencing art together. Childcare is available during the program. Bring a dish to share. Please invite friends, family, and neighbors. |

Christmas bulletin submissions
Greetings from the Grace office! With the high volume of Christmas bulletins and Grace’s annual Christmas office closure between December 25 and January 1, Lindsay will be getting an early start on bulletin printing. To help make it all possible: There will be no printed announcements in our 12/24 and 12/25 bulletins. Christmas flower dedications will appear instead. The deadline for 12/29 bulletin announcements Thursday, 12/19 at noon. Weekly eNews deadlines will not be impacted. |

Grace’s 2025 Stewardship Campaign Wrap-Up
Give yourselves a round of applause! With your pledges and matching funds totaling $715,858, the Grace Vestry and Finance Committee have now begun finalizing budget plans for 2025. The progress grid below reflects pledges received from 151 households through Tuesday, December 10, 2024, as well as the entire $22,000 in matching funds earned from qualifying new pledges.

Warm and Waterproof Outerwear
Outreach will be collecting new and gently worn hats, vests, sweaters, socks, jackets, and gloves during the months of December and January for those in need in our community. Please bring donations to the narthex beginning this Sunday, December 15th. Thank You! |

Love God, Love God’s World
Tuesday, January 14, from 6:30-8:00 pm Grace is hosting a cohort of 10 to 12 individuals in The Episcopal Church’s new program “Love God, Love God’s World,” which was developed by the Creation Care Ministry. “Love God, Love God’s World” is a nine-session course, each lasting 60 to 75 minutes, patterned upon “Sacred Ground.” The first session to be held at Grace on Tuesday, January 14, from 6:30-8:00 pm. The following sessions will be held via Zoom every two weeks. The sessions will be held in the evening, at a time most convenient to the members of the cohort. As was the case for “Sacred Ground” there will be about 1.5 to 2 hours of material to be reviewed prior to each session. This will include both written and video material. We invite you to review the curriculum at this link. Youth Café Night

Sponsored by Grace & St. Barnabas Episcopal Churches with the other Open & Affirming churches and youth organizations of Bainbridge Island. |
Mom’s Morning Retreat Childcare
Mom’s Morning Retreat, a supportive community group for moms, is in need of a regular childcare worker to help watch over children ages five and under in the Grace nursery during meetings. Meetings take place the first and third Thursday mornings of every month, beginning December 5. This is a paid position. For more information or to apply, please email Heidi Watson. |
