Grace has a new Music Director!

The Music Director Search Committee is pleased to announce that Kim Thompson will be joining the Grace staff as the new Music Director! She begins on July 8. 

Kim was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She holds a Master of Sacred Music degree with a choral/vocal emphasis from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Portland. Kim has fifteen years of experience leading worship as a pastoral musician for congregations in Indiana, Minnesota, and Washington. She also holds a diploma in Band Instrument Repair and worked for a year as a band instrument repair technician before joining the staff at Grace Church. In her free time, Kim enjoys biking, hiking, photography, and exploring new places.

The Music Director Search Committee was made up of Rev. Eric Mason, HR Trustee Mary Ellen de la Pena, and Music Circle Members James Ruffo-Hill, Kelly Hume and Cathy Bronson. We are unanimous in our selection of Kim. Please join us in welcoming Kim to the Grace community!
